Operations Fellow
The Operations Fellow aids in all aspects of ACIJ’s administrative activities and will gain insight into the broad range of tasks that support the management of a small non-profit organization. The Fellow will assist in activities related to volunteer management, fundraising data analysis, community engagement, data entry and reporting.
Responsibilities:
Financial Development

Research corporate and private giving prospects

Support grant tracking efforts
-
Assist with gift processing and data entry related to fundraising

Assist in volunteer/intern recruitment efforts and maintenance of volunteer personnel files

Support the Winter Appeal donation, tracking, and thank-you process
Community Engagement
-
Serve on and facilitate the work of relevant event planning committees

Assist in the development of promotional materials
-
Assist with data entry related to volunteer programs
-
Represent ACIJ at tabling events throughout the community
Other Administrative Support
-
Support Directors and the Administrative Manager as needed, including but not limited to, filing, answering phones and doors, client support, donation acceptance, data collection and special projects.
Qualifications:

Strong computer skills with proficiencies Microsoft Office and Google Workspace as well as social media (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram)

Highly organized with initiative to complete tasks and necessary preparation independently

Committed to ACIJ’s mission and values
-
Prior office experience a plus but not required
-
Passion around instances of injustice and a desire to make local change in communities

Experience in following diversity and inclusion/anti-racism policies and practices; applying equity lens to organizational practices and culture

Ability to work frequent nights and weekends as needed

Proficiency in English and Spanish a plus
Compensation & Next Steps:
The Operations Fellowship is a part-time independent contractor position with a $1200 monthly stipend. Fellows will be expected to work 20 hours a week.
